Here are actors speaking about the same -

Simple Kaul was at the GR8! Love Stories Calendar Launch
Simple Kaul - I'll be decorating my house with lights, diyas and rangloi. I will be celebrating Diwali in Delhi only as it's my hometown. All my family members from my husband's side and my side will come over and will have a family time. This year we are not holding a party like usually we have cards party. This time it's a family affair. My most memorable diwali was when I was 16 years old because my dad had got a new car on my name. So that was the best Diwali ever!  I met with a car accident before diwali and took days to recover... It was my worst diwali! Though I coped up with that and returned back. I had marks and stitches and in pain after that but my recovery was that moment of happiness like a Diwali moment. My high point was when I heard my voice in studio. That was like a Diwali moment. It sounds so different in the studio... I overwhelmed and that was the spark of Diwali that I felt.

Shivin Narang
Shivin Narang - Diwali I'll be in Delhi with my family and its gonna so much fun. My main aim during diwali is going home for food. Being a delhitie I crave for delicious food which is made during diwali days and as you "delhi ka khana" is just awesome! Also its Diwali, so many gift are gonna come and crackers. I am very excited! (laughs). I am looking forward to Diwali as I will be spending it with my family and relatives. Every Diwali is very memorable... I recall 5 years back I used to bring so many crackers that have no limits. In Delhi literally we had competition who would get more crackers! Those are some special memories I really cherish.

Diwali moment for me is more than anything is giving happiness to someone like distributing food and clothes among the needy. The smile you get from them is more than a diya or Diwali!  The first day I came to Mumbai I signed the contract on that day itself... So that day I was overwhelmed and that day was my high point of life and that's a Diwali moment I would consider in my career and  life !

13th Indian Television Academy Awards 2013
Jaswir Kaur - Diwali every year I love dressing up and buying new clothes or make new clothes for that day and crackers and sweets and lights. I light up my house with beautiful lights. No matter how modern we become Diwali will always be a big festival. Every year becomes a memorable one...Though I remember  2 years back I was at lokhandawal and parked my car and walked the lokhandwala street which beautifully lit up with shimmering lights. Also I am bifg time foodie so I tell people if you visit my house get anying you make at home like karangi, shakkar pare...I recall those days helping my mother making these sweets for diwali and exchanging these with our neighbours. So these are really special memories that I miss and feel this is what makes diwali so special... I am completely a 60s- 70s person when it comes to celebrating diwali.

Every time I get a chance to keep my head on her lap is the most special moment in my life. Having mom is a blessing. It's a like a diwali when I sit next to her feet and she touches my head. I am so attached to my mother that I get really heavy and emotional when talking about her. She's my inspiration and what I am today is only because of her. When I started working at a young age and my mother gifted me a gold finger ring big designed one with the money I earned. Though the time changed but I can never change that ring into a new design. My mother acknowledging my beginning a career and becoming independent was the touching Diwali moment fore me. I felt high on life.

Shashank Vyas
Shashank Vyas - This year Diwali I have no plans I will be celebrating in Mumbai. I will be
decorating my house with lighting and diya and  meeting friends for dinner so we can have  nice time get together. Only few friends  will  be available. Rest going hometown. I am going to buy a nice  home theatre for my new place which is in interior phase..as I am  getting good deal so I ll book it on Dhanteras.  I remember my Childhood times  after coming back from school I used to see  mom making sweets and snacks. I tried to taste and she used to say not now its fr diwali and  after rituals you can have and from that tym every year I helped my mom in preparing sweets.  When  I was in college I got ten days holidays. I saw a pair of shoes which were quite expensive. But I am footwear lover and I wanted them for Diwali. So instead of going to hometown Ujjain for holidays. I worked in a mall in Indore explaining different offers on a particular brand.: I worked in those 10 days and earned some amount. I gifted myself those shoes and it was areal Diwali moment for me.

Gunjan Utreja
Gunjan Utreja - No Diwali plans this year as I am shooting on that day. Since my new show
is about discovering India through festivals. I will be shooting for the Diwali sequence at some location with the family that will feature on our show and my crew. I m sad for obvious reasons but I am also looking forward to celebrate the festival in a different style this year. Peace is about finding joys in smaller things. I appreciate the beauty of life. And that's like Diwali for me. A good sunrise to a nice coffee to a your favorite song being played on radio. It was in standard 12th when my board exam result was to be announced. Our group of 12 friends  knew that our chemistry exam did nt go as expected and we all may fail cos we all had written almost the same stuff in the exam. And to our surprise except me and 1 other friend all other 10 friends had to reappear. It was so thing I never understood cos we all had written same things but only we two passed. That was some sort of miracle and a Diwali moment for me

Jyoti looking beautiful
Sneha Wagh - Every Diwali is a memorable one. It's one of the biggest Hindu festivals
we celebrate with puja, diyas and beautiful lights. Diwali is a festival to spent be with your near and dear ones what makes this festival an amazing one. I would spend Diwali with friends in Mumbai only. Most memorable Diwali was when I was in college and I had burnt lots of crackers
with neighbors. The high point of life which I felt was like Diwali was when my mom appreciated after seeing my performance in TV soap Jyoti. I really felt proud when my mom told me I am proud of you. I'll spend the day and night with my family.

Tina Dutta
Tina Dutta - Diwali means lots of lights and Deeyas. I love to dress up for diwali. It's a fantastic festival. I will be celebrating it with my friends and family. I have bought a new house so it is adouble celebration. Diwali as a child meant new clothes, lots of chocolates and Mithai . I remember as a child once my mom bought an expensive dress for diwali and I was really excited
with the pink dress and had flaunted it to everyone. The diwali moment of my life was when My character Iccha became hugely popular and my father said with proud that I am his lovely daughter. My father's acknowledgement really moved me and made my eyes moist. At that moment I felt my career choice of acting was perfect.

We wish our readers Happy Diwali!
