Tunisha Sharma suicide case: Sheezan Khan’s bail plea rejected; case moved to High court
Here’s the new update on Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case.

Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case has left everyone with many questions. The actress committed suicide on 24th December 2022. The actress’ mother filed an FIR against her co-actor and alleged boyfriend Sheezan Khan and he has been detained by the cops.
Sheezan is sentenced to fourteen days’ judicial custody while his family filed for bail plea. On the basis of application filed by Sharma’s family’s lawyer, the case was adjourned until 11th January 2023. The verdict was to be announced today.
In the hearing today, Sheezan Khan’s bail plea has been rejected by the court.
Yes, you read that right!
Tunisha Sharma’s family’s lawyer Tarun Sharma said, “The bail has been rejected. The court has not accepted any of the theories put across by the opposition. On the basis of ‘last seen’ concept, the bail has been rejected”.
The case will now be fought in the high court. Talking about the same, Sharma added, “Well, I have done my preparations for Supreme court as well. Let’s see how things unfolds.”
In the previous hearing, Sheezan's lawyer looked quite confident on getting his clients' bail plea accepted. He had said, "We've been co-operating with the police. However, I'd still maintain that Sheezan's arrest has been illegal. In today's hearing, it was quite clear that Sheezan wasn't the last person that Tunisha spoke to. It was Tunisha's mother Vanita Sharma with whom Tunisha spoke to minutes before taking the drastic step. The opposition lawyer has not given any prominent reply to our arguments. I'm sure we will get the bail on January 13th".

What an absolute joke. This is a complete waste of time of the law. Unless they can prove he murdered her or was actually harassing her which pushed her to suicide they cannot punish him for anything. Say even if it is true he cheated on her, you can't make adultery or being unfaithful a punishable crime. That would be ridiculous. There's a higher likelihood of himself being in shock and trauma over his ex-girlfriend/ friend's suicide and being accused of it than there is of him being some criminal mastermind the way his mother is trying to paint him as. I feel sorry for this guy. His career, image and mental health has gone to tatters and people will not let him recover from all of this even if he is let free and released of any charges.

Even if he gets convicted fact remains that it's her mother responsible for pushing her daughter to showbiz from young age with no care for her mental well being

This is a clear case of injustice. It seems insanity is the new rule for Indian court system.
