#TuesdayTrivia: Did you know Sanaya Irani and Harshad Chopda starred in a show named Meenu Mausi?

On the other hand, Sanaya Irani has also gone missing from small screen for a long time. Though her Star Plus' popular show, Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon is rerun on the channel, the actress is not seen any of the latest shows. While both of them are missing from the screen for some time now, we have a trivia about the duo. Did you know that a show was supposed to be made starring the two together?

Yes, in 2016, a show named Meenu Mausi was supposed to go on air on Star Plus starring Sanaya Irani opposite Harshad Chopda. The show was based on Bollywood film Aamir Khan-Juhi Chawla starrer Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke, 1993. However, post the pilot shoot, the show got scrapped. It was heard that the show was taking too long to go on floors and the channel was getting impatient. Although the team had shot the pilot but the channel did not quite approve of the lead cast and thus the makers had to withdraw the show.

Sanaya and Harshad were not the only ones to be part of the show. The makers also roped in Hiten Tejwani and Chhavi Mittal in the show. They would have three kids and after their sudden death, Sanaya would play the role of Massi. However, the show got shelved for an indefinite period and after two years, we don't think the channel has any plans of reviving it. The cast also included Sparsh Khanchandani, Avneet Kaur and Uzair Basar

If at all Harshad and Sanaya starred together in the show then it would have been the first time that they would work together opposite each other.
