'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji' to go off air...

Star Plus' show Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji with Avinesh Rekhi and Rhea Sharma as the lead couple, is all set to bid adieu to the audience.  

Our source informs us,"While Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji is performing decently number wise, the channel is going in for a revamp soon and all shows which aren't exceptional performers are going off air.  The second installment definitely hasn't made had the same kind of impact which the first season had with Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh in lead roles.

When we contacted Shashi Mittal, the producer of the show, she said, "We haven't received any official intimation regarding this."

And guesses as to which show will replace it? 

We hear that a game show will take over this time slot. Yes, this family drama will make way for a reality show which will be produced by Optimystix.
