#TRPToppers: 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Yeh Rishta..' make HISTORY; 'Shakti..' slumps considerably!

In the most unanticipated ways, we did not know that we are in for such an eventful week. The number game got competitive and has some surprises this week. The stakes were high and many managed to live up to it while one show dwindled to an all-time low. Here are the Top 10 shows this week-

'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is an example in itself as to how the competition was cut throat this week. In spite of a rise in viewership from 2.5 to 2.7 points, it dropped to 10^th spot from the 8^th spot.

The biggest shocker in stores is Colors' long-time leader, 'Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii' witnessing a massive drop for the first time in quite some time. What is interesting about this is that the viewership hasn't changed from the past week, but thanks to the other shows raking in big numbers, the show has been the victim.

The 8^th position may not be reflective about how 'Ishqbaaaz' continues having a fare week, but the numbers speak volumes. The show creates history as it fetches 2.8 points for probably the first time since it went on-air. The popularity continues to rise and now, the numbers are co-existing with it.

A drop is in store for both the aspects of Sony TV's leader, 'The Kapil Sharma Show' as it bids adieu to its 2^nd spot; managing the 7^th spot with 2.9 points.

Welcoming a new entrant this week, 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs' enters the race with a staggering 2.9 points. These amazing numbers also helped Zee TV reclaim the 3^rd spot after a long time.

'Shani' manages to stay not only strong but consistent too as it fetches 2.9 points with a drop to the 5^th spot. It is certainly amazing how such great numbers no longer guarantee a good place in the list.

The much-awaited entry of the new Tapu has managed to garner great numbers for 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.' It has a rise in the list to the 4^th place and numbers too, as it yields 2.9 points. In real time, the new Tapu has actually entered, so we think it may be another soaring week for the show.

Zee TV would be certainly elated with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's roaring entry and 'Kumkum Bhagya' touching the mark of 3.0 points after a long time. This also meant that the show jumps to the 3^rd spot.

History has indeed been created this week in many forms as Star Plus' long runner, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' rises to the 2^nd spot with a humongous 3.2 points after ages. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) wedding will be airing in the coming week and there may just be a possibility that Yeh Rishta..' dethrones 'Naagin 2' from the top spot. 

Let's just say that for the first time, the position of 'Naagin 2' seems to be in jeopardy as 'Yeh Rishta..' was just .2 points behind of 'Naagin 2' this week. In the meantime, the snake fest retains the top spot with 3.4 points.
