Trp toppers: Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa falls further, Jhanak on a ‘flop spree’

This week around, due to the ongoing festivities, the trp day was shifted from Thursday to Friday. However, there have been yet another shocking changes in the numbers of your favourite shows. Read ahead to know the shows that secured the best ratings last week.

No.5: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin:

Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj’s GHKKPM has been in the news for the past one week now ever since the rumours of the show heading for a leap started doing rounds. While there is no clarity on the same, this week, the viewers of GHKKPM have managed to secure the 5th spot for the show with 2.3 points.

No.4: Anupamaa:

Once a numero uno show, looks like, the days of ruling the TRP charts are long gone for Anupamaa. With the show further falling to the fourth spot from the third spot last week, it has managed to secure 2.3 points this week too. Just like GHKKPM, Anupamaa too has been in the headlines for the last one week and the reason behind the same has been thé controversial replacement of Alisha Parveen.

No.3: Advocate Anjali Awasthi:

Usually over shadowed by its competitors, It’s time Shirtama Mitra’s Advocate Anjali Awasthi gets its due and is talked about more. The show’s performance in the past few weeks has improved significantly and the show securing the third spot with 2.4 points is a proof of the same.

No. 2: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai:

The whole Armaan Abhira separation and Dadi sa’s warning has not only gotten Armaan hastening the process to win Abhira back, but has also gotten the audience hooked on to the show. This week, the Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer has retained its position on the second spot and has secured 2.4 points.

No.1: Udne Ki Aasha:

Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora’s Udne Ki Aasha has completed a month of being the number one show pan India this week. Rightly so, the show’s realistic story line and the absolute hard work of the actors deserves the recognition.

Apart from the above mentioned show, while Deepika Singh’s Mangal Lakshmi continues to be the number one show of Colors TV, Hiba Nawab and Krushal Abuja’s Jhanak has been on a ‘falling spree’ with the show falling to the 8th spot this week. If only the fall in numbers is alarming enough for the makers and writers to understand the need to work on their story line, the sizzling chemistry of Hiba and Krushal can still be saved for all the fans of the reel life couple. Bigg Boss being ousted from the top 10 race also speaks volumes about the show losing its audience rapidly.
