Triptii Dimri's portrayal of Zoya in the movie "Animal" has become a talking point, drawing attention not only for her performance but also for the controversial treatment of women in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film. In a recent interview Triptii opened up about her parents' surprising reaction to a particularly intimate scene with co-star Ranbir Kapoor. According to the actress, her parents were initially 'taken aback' by the scene and expressed their discomfort, advising her that she 'shouldn't have done it.'

Recalling her parents' response, Triptii shared talking to Bollywood Hungama, "My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) ‘We have never seen something like this in films, and you have done it.’ It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me, though. They were like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that… but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this."

However, Triptii asserted her stance, explaining to her parents that as an actor, her responsibility is to portray her character truthfully. "I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job, and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor, and I have to be 100 percent honest with the character that I play, and I did that,” she clarified.

Triptii previously shared that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga meticulously briefed her about each scene, ensuring her comfort on set. Despite the controversy and debate surrounding certain scenes, she acknowledged the dark and selfish facets of human nature.

In "Animal," a film that has become the highest-grossing in Ranbir Kapoor's career, Triptii's character Zoya finds herself entangled in a toxic relationship with Ranbir's character, Rannvijay Singh. The movie explores the complex dynamics between Rannvijay and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor, and features Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in significant roles.

As the film continues its successful run at the box office, Triptii Dimri's nuanced portrayal of Zoya stands out, sparking conversations not only about the film's box office success but also the intricate layers of her character.
