Tom Holland Opens Up About Spending a Cozy Christmas with Zendaya and Her Family

Tom Holland and Zendaya, known for keeping their relationship under wraps, surprised fans when Holland shared insights into their Christmas plans during an appearance on the Dish podcast with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett.

Holland revealed that he and Zendaya will be celebrating Christmas together in the United States this year with her family. However, he kept the exact location under wraps, saying, “Where we will spend the special day is a ‘secret’.”

Reflecting on a less-than-ideal holiday in the past, Holland recounted his experience of spending Christmas alone during the Covid-19 pandemic. He shared, “The first time I spent Christmas away from home was in America, and unfortunately, not by choice. I made two movies back-to-back through Covid. Did two press tours through Covid and did not get Covid once, the entire time. And after the Spider-Man 3 premiere was the last day of work I had, I was supposed to fly home the next day for Christmas, and I got Covid. So, I spent like two weeks in essentially the guest bedroom and just was by myself. It was a pretty rough Christmas, to be fair. This year will be great. This will be great.”

Holland also revealed their long-term plans for future holidays, expressing his hopes to unite both their families. “I think what we'd like to start doing is rather than like, spending it with each family each year is to bring the families together. That's what I think we want to do next time. This time, 'cause we're both actors, we're terrible at organising things. So it hasn't happened yet. The thought's there. The idea has been planted,” he explained.

While Holland hails from the UK and Zendaya from the US, the couple has been in a relationship since 2021, first acknowledging it publicly that year. Despite their reluctance to discuss their relationship openly, fans continue to be intrigued by the duo’s dynamic.

On the professional front, Holland is set to star in Spider-Man 4, Avengers: Doomsday, and an upcoming film directed by Christopher Nolan. Zendaya will also feature in Nolan’s project, in addition to her role in The Drama.
