TMKOC’s Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar comments on Dilip Joshi and Asit Kumar Modi’s rift

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the famous show on SAB TV, is once again making news because of a serious argument between its main actor, Dilip Joshi, and producer Asit Kumar Modi.

Dilip Joshi, popularly known as Jethalal, had a confrontation with Asit Modi over a prolonged leave request issue. Joshi had asked for time off in August, but Modi allegedly disregarded his requests. When Modi came to the sets, Joshi tried to discuss the matter, but his concerns were brushed aside, resulting in a heated argument. Reports suggest that tensions escalated, leading Joshi to grab Modi by the collar in frustration.

But now, Mandar Chandwadkar has refuted claims of a conflict between Dilip Joshi and Asit Modi on the sets earlier this year. When contacted by Indian Express for his response to the issue, Mandar dismissed the rumors of a fight and stated that they all work together 'peacefully'.

“What rubbish? Who spread these rumours? We all are shooting absolutely peacefully and happily," he said. Amit Bhatt, who plays the role of Champaklal Gada in the show also denied it saying, “No, yaar."

Atter the news went viral Dilip Joshi had dismiss the news and called it a baseless rumour. In an official statement by Dilip Joshi stated that "I just want to clear the air about all these rumors going around. There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a show that means so much to me and millions of fans, and when people spread baseless rumors, it hurts not only us but also our loyal viewers."
