It is one year since the talented and beautiful actress Tina Parekh got married to Vikram Hazra, a talented musician who is associated with the Art of Living's popular worldwide 'rock' satsang programme. They celebrated their first anniversary on 9^th of February and it was a simple affair as their marriage. Our Tellybuzz reporter caught up with Tina to find out how she celebrated this D-Day of hers.

Tina and Vikram chose to celebrate their first anniversary in the ashram. “We went to Sri Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram in Bangalore with two of our friends who got married on the same day. We were totally three couples who attended satsang. We felt very relaxed and had nice time”.

If there is one moment that you would remember from this day for the rest of your life, what would it be? “The whole day was memorable. We spent time with guruji and this, in itself is a memorable moment”. First anniversaries are usually memorable and couples celebrate it as a grand affair. Then why did you choose the ashram? “We wanted to celebrate this beautiful day in a peaceful way, so we decided to go there and celebrate.”

Tina gifted her husband with a Blackberry on their anniversary. So, what did you receive as a gift? “He took me for shopping which I love to do", says the blushing Tina.
