We all know how if there has been one topic everybody is talking about apart from coronavirus these days, it has been Tiktok. From support to flak and everything else, the application is what has been the focal point.

This got all the more a talking point when a clone app called 'Mitron' was launched on Google Play Store recently and that was hailed as 'India's answer to Tiktok.'

The application used to allow people to post short videos and the immense popularity helped the app get more than 5 million downloads in less than a month. The app initially earned popularity after PM Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’ call but soon found itself in a spot of bother when it got surrounded by a series of controversies. And now, as per a report in News18, Google has suspended the application from its play store for allegedly violating its 'spam and minimum functionality' policy.

CNBC also states the users of the app should also worry about their privacy.
