TikTok star Faisal Shaikh and his group 07 landed into substantial trouble after Shiv Sena activist Ramesh Solanki filed a complaint against them for allegedly circulating a video related to the mob lynching of Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand.
In response to the complaint, the police proffered to have reviewed the clip in question. After the review, the content of the clip was found to have potential to incite communal violence and thereafter, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered. Taking note of the ongoing unfolding of events, the video-sharing app by ByteDance, TikTok, has suspended Faisu's account and removed the clip from its application calling it "a violation of their community guidelines''.
The latest, we hear, is that Faisal account has been suspended and no new followers can follow him nor see his profile in the app.
In the light of current situation, the team hasn't only taken down the video but rendered an apology as well on Faisu's Instagram account.
