This new entry in 'Kullfi Kumar Bajewala' to provide a new lease of life to Kullfi!

Star Plus' Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala has been impressing one and all with its intriguing storyline. And, the icing on the cake for the show is child actress Aakriti Sharma who plays Kullfi and is being loved immensely by the audience.

In the upcoming episodes, we'll see how David (Rajeev Bharadwaj) and his wife Susan will forcefully take Kullfi away to start their happily ever after story. However, Kullfi will manage to escape from David's clutches and reach a busy market street.

And to her luck, she will see Sikander (Mohit Malik) frantically searching for her and she will call him. He too, will see her and will reach out to her, but unfortunately, their meeting will end in tragedy as Kullfi will end up getting hit by a truck carrying flowers. And, on being rushed to the hospital, she will be declared to have gone into comma.

That is when Kullfi's doctor will step in and attempt to bring her back to life. And the role of the doctor will be played by actress Shafaq Naaz and her character name will be Dr. Niyati.

Confirming the news to us, Shafaq revealed, "I start shooting today for Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and I have a cameo role. It's a very substantial part and I am very excited to be a part of this project."

The actress however, refused to divulge more about her character.
