Actor Taher Shabbir, whose stint as Viraj Singh Rathore in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins is remembered till date by fans of the show, is earning quite the accolades for his role of the sensible and respectful Arshad, Zoya's (Jennifer Winget) fianc in Colors' Bepannaah.
Well, his small screen roles aren't the only thing that Taher is remembered for.
The tall and handsome actor made his successful splash into Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan's Fan in 2016, followed by Naam Shabana in 2017.
And the actor now completes his hat-trick in B-Town with National-Award winner Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, which also Marks the debut of Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkari Bai, Rani Laxmibai's right hand. Taher will be seen playing Sangram Singh, who joined Rani Laxmibai in the 1857 rebellion and defeated the British several times.
The report stated that Taher, who will start shooting at the end of September at the ND Studios Karjat is well acquainted with horse-riding and is currently training with the film's action director Nick Powell for sword fighting.
Speaking to the tabloid, the elated actor was quoted as saying that not only was he happy to be a part of the project, but also revealed that Kangana was like family to him.
He also assured his fans that he would continue to be a part of Bepannaah and that even though juggling both the film and the show was hectic, it felt awesome.
The film is scheduled for a 25th January 2019 release and will reportedly be seen clashing with other big projects like Super 30, Cheat India and Thackeray (this film releases 2 days prior to Manikarnika).
