There’ll be a lot of scope to explore the story post leap: Megha Chakroborty on five years leap in ‘Imlie’

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is getting the love of the audience. ‘Imlie’ will soon head for a five years’ leap. Imlie is pregnant with Atharva’s baby, and while she prepares a sweater for the baby, she gets the horrifying news of Atharva’s accident. Imlie will believe that Atharva died. She will also lose her baby. However, her life will turn upside down when she sees Atharva alive with Cheeni and a baby. Imlie will be shocked and will try to investigate the same.

Imlie will give birth to a baby girl and before giving birth, Imlie will dream of her happy family with Atharva and how the three of them will now stay happily ever after. But happily ever after and television shows rarely go hand in hand. Atharva, who will be in comma post his accident will reach the hospital on the day of Imlie''s delivery and will see everyone very happy, including Imlie. Not just this, he will recall an incident wherein he heard Imlie tell Dhairya that she and Atharva did not want this child. This will not sit down well with Atharva post which he will pick up his and Imlie's daughter from the hospital and run away. It will be after this that Atharva will start a new life with Seerat.

India Forums got in touch with Megha to know about her thoughts on the leap, she said, "I am happy with the leap as it will add more spice to the story. We will get more scope to explore in terms of performances and twists in the show. Imlie and family feel Atharva is no more but he is alive, as shown in the promo and I am sure when twist will unfold, it will be exciting and interesting for the viewers of the show. The show will also witness the entry of a cute little kid who'll play Imlie- Atharva's daughter. The kid will surely add her cuteness and innocence in the show. It will be intriguing to see if the baby can reunite her parents. "

When asked about the feedback from fans on leap, Megha added, " A section of fans who wanted more of AthIlie(Atharva and Imlie) are upset as they're currently separated. But I am sure their wait will be fruitful in the future. Other than that, a section of fans are curious about the upcoming twist in the show that the leap is going to deliver. "
