After spawning three successful and heart-warming seasons of Aam Aadmi Family, TVF and Zee5 are now back with yet another season of the much-loved nostalgia-loaded family drama, Aam Aadmi Family Season 4. As we know, every season has managed to showcase an entirely new cast with different issues and stories to show.

Veteran actor Brijendra Kala plays the lead in this season and in an exclusive conversation with us, we asked him about what he thinks sets this show apart from other family-centric shows and some memorable or challenging moments while filming for the show.

What do you think sets Aam Aadmi Family apart from other family-centric TV shows or series?

Aam Aadmi Family doesn't follow an artificial script. There isn't a single villain in this narrative; rather, the real adversaries are the circumstances and situations impacting each character's life. For example, if an unfavorable event occurs for Bobby, it becomes a challenging situation for him. No individual intentionally harms him. We function as a family, and there's no ill intent towards anyone. We stand united, devoid of a traditional villainous element. This is what distinguishes it from other series.

Can you share some memorable and challenging behind-the-scenes moments from filming the Aam Aadmi Family?

I recall a challenging moment from the last season when we were tasked with shooting a summer scene amid winter, dressed in summer attire despite the January cold. It proved to be quite demanding; I was limited to wearing just one shirt in that wintry weather, making it a tough ordeal. Additionally, there was a scene where we were preparing for Daadi ki Tervi, and Madhu touched her feet. Performing a genuine crying scene that looks authentic is inherently difficult, but thankfully, everything went smoothly by God's grace. These moments and scenes, both memorable and challenging, left a lasting impression on me.

Aam Aadmi Family Season 4 has been streaming on Zee5 from 24th November 2023 onwards.
