Talented actor Manav Verma, who rose to fame with Sony TV's 'Betaab Dil Ki Tammana Hai' and was recently seen on Star Plus' popular show 'Tu Mera Hero' had a great experience being a part of the show and feels that there are some drawbacks in the industry that should be taken care of.
In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Manav shares more about his experience with his recent show 'Tu Mera Hero', about the drawbacks of the industry and much more. Read on to know what all he has to share...
Talking about his journey and experience with his recent show 'Tu Mera Hero', Manav says, "I have been very fortunate to be with a team that felt like home; during my initial years, I did struggle in spite of being Mr. Raj Babbar's nephew. This industry has taught me a lot and I have grown from a boy to a man and I owe it all to my experiences here. We had some exceptionally talented people there, some veteran actors, technicians and directors, who have mentored us and I will be forever indebted to them."
"It was a nice experience to work with Shashi Sumeet Production as they have been extremely kind and generous to the entire cast. The immense amount of values that they have as human beings, gets transferred to the work they do and it positively puts an impact on everyone involved. I have earned a family from this show," adds Manav.
We also asked Manav about the drawbacks of the TV industry
according to him. Sharing his view on the same, Manav said, "I firmly believe
that one thing that is lacking in our industry, is the lack of recognition that
should be given to the script writers and other members who make the show
possible. The entire concentration is focused on few people and hence, the
writers are forced to follow stereotype and focus on the few, rather than
telling a story. When experiments are done, the viewership turns down. It
becomes like a vicious cycle, where the viewers only accept certain kind of
stories, which force the team to produce certain types of shows. I believe that
there is a lot of talent in the industry waiting for the right kind of shows to
be backed up."
When we asked Manav about his future plans, he replied, "It's
too early to make plans for the next move. All I can say is that I can't wait
to start on with my next project."
Good luck Manav!
