Parleen Gill is a name to remember for sure!! The tall smart lad from
Haryana who became the ‘Darling of All’ in no time, whether it be a
‘Star Performer’ for his fellow contestants or ‘A Boy Next Door’ for
the whole Nation, Parleen has left behind his memories in Indian Idol.
He Rocked last week on Roobaroo as he was the centre of attraction
then. Even after his exit, this week was no different from the last, as
all the contestants talk their heart out in Roobaroo as to how much
they miss Parleen.

The contestants are just back from Ahmedabad where they gave their
first live performance. But all that they have to say now after this
memorable trip is that, they missed Parleen so much and that he has
left behind a vacuum in Indian Idol. The Spunky Ankita adds on that she
was in tears backstage before the performance and just could not stop
thinking of Parleen. While Emon missed his buddy, he talks about the
nickname they had given Parleen, ‘Room Service’
as he was fondly called, because he picked up the mess after them and
kept the room spic and span.
Amit Paul is really missing his room mate
and close friend while Puja says, “He has gone from Indian Idol but not from our lives, he is a friend for life.”
While this is the state of the Indian Idol Contestants, the Janta and
the innumerable fans of Parleen are also shell-shocked as the Blogs on Sify.com
are flooded with mails asking about Parleen. While many want the
Email ID of Parleen, the female fans of his are left nursing a broken
heart. This is not it, as many have even started enquiring whether
there is a Wild Card Route that Parleen can take again!!

In order to help them cope with the stress of losing friends week after week and the mounting pressures of the contest, Seema Hingoraney,
(the psychiatrist who helped the inmates of Bigg Boss )
came in as a guest on the show. Her advice and useful tips will
surely help these youngsters deal with their problems. She also
offered them tips on dealing with rumours, gossip and limelight
that went hand in glove with stardom and celebrity status.

After the morale boosting session with Seema, the
contestants revealed little known facets about themselves. Viewers know
that Emon is an accomplished guitarist but few know that Dr Chang
is also a cartoonist and an excellent photographer and Abhishek
may have secretly aspired to be a chef, while Puja can do western
dance and Amit can make excellent cutting chai… so much so that a man
declared him a deserving candidate for Indian Idol!

An unusual round of antakshari and dance followed. Carried away
by the spirit of the moment, a girl from the audience
promptly ran up to the stage and hugged and kissed Emon much to
his embarrassment.
Do not miss his musical tribute to the
girl on Roobaroo on Thursday at 9 pm on Indian Idol only on Sony
Entertainment Television.
