The 7 episode web drama Life Navrangi,  sequel of the 26-episode TV drama Navrangi Re!  created by BBC Media Action, supported by( The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) is all set to make a grand comeback on  a digital platform this year.

Life Navrangi continues to be the story of Vishwas played by Aamir Ali. But in this upcoming web drama, he starts a new journey quitting his job as a successful TV news anchor because he wants to tell meaningful stories that can help people and change their lives for the better.

Returning to the sequel of a successful show, Aamir Ali speaks about why he came back,"The association with this show was very good, as it had names like the BBC and Bodhi Tree associated with it. The show speaks about urban sanitation, a topic which needs to be highlighted. Life Navrangi gives out a very positive message and one which people should be aware of. At the same time the makers have added in the pure entertainment factor and not made it preachy at all. The show eventually has to entertain and give out a strong message in balance".

Radharani Mitra, Global Creative Advisor at BBC Media Action, BBC's Independent international charity that uses the power of media and communication to create social impact, shared her inputs on Life Navrangi,"Life Navrangi, like its predecessor Navrangi Re! uses insight-driven, audience-centric, engaging and creative storytelling to make people in urban India aware of an unspoken, unseen topic in urban sanitation- faecal sludge management or what happens after you flush?! It's the world's first drama on this topic".
