Life Ok is gearing up to prove its mark in the big league with the array of shows lined up already. With 'Ghulaam' getting several accolades and 'Har Mard Ka Dard' lined up, the channel's revamp policy has been working fine already.

But the true test lies with the channel's upcoming magnum opus show, 'Maharaja Ranjit Singh,' which is set to be hitting the small screen soon. The show has been a newsmaker since day one and the cast of the show keeps getting more and more illustrious with every passing day.

However, a little roadblock has hit the show as one of the celebrated actors who was slated to play a pivotal role has now been REPLACED.

Yes! That's right. According to a leading news portal, popular and veteran actor, Chandrachur Singh was set to play the pivotal character of Ranjit Singh's grandfather, Charat Singh's close friend, but has now been replaced.

It is been said that things were all set and sealed as Chandrachur is also the brother of the show's producer, Abhimanyu Singh and was considered to be perfect for the character.

However, with further developments, things have now altered and Chandrachur has been replaced by another popular and veteran actor, Chetan Pandit.

Chetan is best known for his roles in shows like 'Saraswatichandra' and 'Punar Vivaah' among others.
