Colors' Sasural Simar Ka got a breath of fresh air recently when it was confirmed that the show is indeed not going off-air soon and has infact got an extension.

While this was happy news for the fans of the show, here is a piece of news which is sure to leave you saddened.

In recent times, the show has witnessed several exits with new actors being roped in, thus automating a sort of revamp in itself.

And now according to a leading news daily, actress Jyotsna Chandola who plays the character of Khushi has submitted her papers and will be quitting the show soon.

Yes! That's right. The actress felt that her character did not have much to do and had reached its wrapping point.

Infact, the makers also finished her track three days prior to her final day.

The actress also mentioned that she is now looking forward to a new innings.
