The Original 'Taarak Mehta' passes away!

It is a sad day for the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and the fans of the show. The show that has been entertaining us for over 8 years have lost a pillar member of their team.

Columnist and writer, Taarak Mehta recently passed away. The legend was 87 years old and was suffering from prolonged illness.

Taarak Mehta was famous for his contribution to literary works and his Gujarati column, 'Duniya Na Oondah Chasmah' inspired the much loved and cult show, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.'

The Producer of the show, Asit Modi and actor, Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal confirmed the news.
