The fate of a major character will hang in the balance: Gul Khan on ‘Imlie’ as Gashmeer opts out of the show

As reported by India Forums, Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is set for major creative changes  in the show as the lead actor Gashmeer Mahajani who plays the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi opts out of the show.

Gashmeer opted out of the show as he wanted to focus on other projects and take up more projects in the Marathi industry. The actor is said to have shot for the last day of the show. On his exit, he said, “Playing Aditya Kumar Tripathi has been a wonderful journey, and it’s coming to an end. The character deeply resonates with me and will stay in my heart. Imlie was a show that made me a household name today. Here I formed bonds that will last forever. In the past few days, my co-stars haven’t been looking at me [directly], because if we make eye contact, we will start crying. It has been a sweet ending for me. However, I had to take this decision to focus on my future endeavors. A big thank you to everyone who supported me and loved Aditya. My best wishes are always with the show and the entire team of Imlie.”

The producer of the show has now hinted on a major twist in the show. The producer said, “Imlie fans will be in for a ride as we have some of the most exciting twists coming up for them over the next couple of days. The fate of a major character will hang in the balance.”

Well, a recent promo of the show has gone viral and has kept the fans hooked to the screens. The promo features Aryan pointing a gun at Aditya and before Imlie try to rescue her Babusaheb, Aryan pulls the trigger. Aditya falls on the ground.
