The countdown for one of the most loved comedies, 'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai' begins!

India's video-on-demand platform, Hotstar announced the return of the cult comedy show 'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai' in May, this year.  

A show that still enjoys active fandom several years after it went off air will return exclusively on Hotstar as a part of the 'Hotstar Originals' bouquet.

The show will take a seven-year leap featuring Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, Deven Bhojani and Rajesh Kumar along with a slew of new characters. 

Founder of Hats Off Productions, JD Majethia said, "From Maya's haughty retorts to Rosesh's epic poetry, every component that made 'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai' timeless will very much remain the hallmark of this series. Having said that, there's much more hilarity and brand new characters to look forward to. The wise-cracky, intelligent soul of the show will return as our fans remember it, but this time with more laughs and new stories."

'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai' is based on the life of a hilarious Gujarati family living in Mumbai. 

The show's originality and humour has earned a spot amongst the best of Indian television shows, with millions of fans eagerly anticipating its return.
