Shilpa Shinde:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
I'll be at home. I'll eat the typical Maharashtrian Burhani made by my mom and join the Puja and festivities.

What is the color of your gudi?
It will be green or red as both are shagun ke rang.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
I had planned for a car, but it didn't happen (laughs), but I am hoping the next year's gudi represents my victory of buying it.

Any new purchase on the cards?
I'll buy gifts for my friends and family.

Sharad Kelkar:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
We will raise the gudi, do Puja in the morning and feast on puran poli with our loved ones. Also, when I was studying in Gwalior I used to make my own Shrikhand. This year after a long time, I'm planning to do it again. I'll try to spare some time for it maybe take the day off and treat Kirti to my hand-made Shrikhand(laughs)!

What is the color of your gudi?
Orange.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
I bought myself another house, so it represents that.

Any new purchase on the cards?
We'll atleast buy a gold coin as shagun.

Pallavi Subhash:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
It's a very special occasion for me. After the raising of gudi and the Puja I will join my Godh Bharaai family and then return again to my family at home to continue with the festivities.

What is the color of your gudi?
I haven't decided yet, I've left my mom to make the choice.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
Well, I had planned to do only good work and with complete honesty which I have done so far. So my gudi represents my success over my plans.

Any new purchase on the cards?
Well, since it's a part of the saade teen mahurat its considered good to buy something. So I will buy something but just not decided yet.

Sachin Pilgaonkar:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
Well it's our new year so we will welcome it with lots of mithai and khushi.

What is the color of your gudi?
Yellor or maroon or red, any one of these.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
Well, my victory is my family. So the gudi at my house stands for the sweet success of being a part of a wonderful family.

Any new purchase on the cards?
Well, the womenfolk at my home never 'warn' me before shopping, so no idea so far(laughs).

Sameer Dharmadhikari:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
Well, this is my first gudipadwa away from my family as I'm shooting in Vapi and they're in Mumbai. So it's a very different and difficult gudipadwa for me. I'm missing my wife and daughter a lot. However, I'm planning to give them a call and tell them I love them loads and miss them a lot.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
The whole year has been filled with many small victories, so my gudi is representative of all that.

Any new purchase on the cards?
Well even though I'm the financial head of the family, the emotional and cultural head is my wife. So my grihalaxmi will channelize the Laxmi earned by me and purchase things (laughs).

Madhura Naik:

How do you plan to celebrate the day?
I would ideally want to spend the day with my family, but I can't do that as i am shooting on the day.

What is the color of your gudi?
I have not decided yet.

What does this year's gudi represent in your life?
Gudi is a holy symbol which represents starting of something new. So I will try to start afresh.

Any new purchase on the cards?
It is very auspicious to buy something on the day. But I have already bought a house, so plan to buy gifts for my family.
