Be it Diwali, Eid, Makar Sankrant or Christmas, our Television stars are always decked up and high on energy to celebrate all these festivals. Likewise, Ramzaan has just begun and our stars are all ready to celebrate this Holy month with great enthusiasm and energy. The fasting phase for one month has begun from today and we at Tellybuzz talk to a few of our Television celebs to know their plans for Ramazaan.

Khan aka Amrit Kaur Sodhi of Amrit Manthan on Life OK
"Ramzaan is a very Holy month for all of us. Kehete ki saari duaa qubool ho jati he! This is the only month when we can ask for forgiveness for all the sins which we have done. It is a very pure month and a lot of charity is also done. This festival has always brought to me many fond memories. I love keeping Roza with the entire family and then opening it also together. All this while I have been with my mother always, but this year she is not with me, so feeling a little bad too. I generally don't fast when I am shooting but when I am at home I make sure that I fast."

Anas
Rashid aka Sooraj of Diya aur Bati Hum on Star Plus
"For me Ramzaan means a month which teaches us about how to control our feelings, desires, and anything wrong. It is all about self-control and how we practice Ramzaan. It definitely gets hectic with the fasting and back-to-back shoots...par usi mein hi toh maza hain! Apne comfort zone se bahar nikalkar aapko mehsoos hona chahiye ki aapka aaj upvaas hai!"

"Hey yes, it is Ramadan again. I curiously wait for this month. I look upon this month as a lesson of patience and perseverance. I feel more closer to God at this time and strangely due to some of His magnificent energies I feel no urge of any sort. During Ramzaan, I feel more strong in my work than ever before. I just love Ramadan. I believe I get direct gifts from Him."

"Ramzaan is all about self-discipline, connecting
and meeting with the family. One of my best memories of Ramzaan is when last
year, I had gone to meet my sister and nephew to Muscat. It was my first
Ramzaan with my nephew. It gets very difficult to fast and shoot together and when
I do lot of physical activity then that day I cannot fast."

"Ramzaan is all about temptations and how we control our temptations. Ramzaan is not only about fasting and about not having food. It is about spirituality and testing yourselves. How much can you control yourself from not having what you like? It is about dedication and it helps us in detoxifying our entire body. But Ramzaan definitely does not mean hogging on food after opening your Roza. I believe that we should open our fast with dates, have tea, light breakfast."
