Telly celebs celebrate Karva Chauth

Shveta Salve: I took advice from my friends who are more experienced that I am and I am going to follow it. Unfortunately my family and in-laws are out of town, so I am going to be doing it all by myself. At the end of the day as long as my husband is there it is good. But I will thoroughly miss my family and mom in law's absence as its my first Karva Chauth.

 

Daljeet Bhanot: This time I am going to be lonely, because neither of my parents can make it, but I am doing Mehndi at my place. My husband is trying really hard tomake it up to me. I guess he has planned an entire day of distraction from food, by taking me out for shopping and then movie. Also I am shopping till afternoon, so I think it is going to be great and as it is my third Karva Chauth, it feels beautiful and as usual on this note I'll recommend marriage to everybody.

 

Jhanvi Chheda: It is my first occasion so it is going to be very special. My mother in law is not in town, so I am going to do it by myself and she is going to instruct me about the traditions.  I am going to dress up like a bride, with mehndi and jewellery, so I am really excited. I am going to fast so lets hope I can make it till the evening. 

Nisha Rawal: I am not going to celebrate Karva Chauth this year. I would want to wait after marriage, as somethings are special and I want to do them after we aremarried. So if this festival is associated with marriage I would like to save it for that time and that for me is a way to enjoy a different life.  I did celebrate Karva Chauth 3-4 years ago  which was covered by the media, but other than that I have never kept it

Rashmi Desai: It's going to be very simple a small family function, nothing big. We are not going to invite any friends.  

Parakh Madan: I will not be shooting since I am fasting. Will pass my time watching movies all day, without popcorn:(
