American sensation Taylor Swift released her new album Lover on 23rd August. As soon as the album was released, it started trending on various streaming services and social media, especially the 11th track ‘London Boy’, stirred a strong reaction from the fans. Taylor had received 10 nominations this year at the VMA’s and her video ‘You Need to Calm Down’ won ‘video of the year’ and ‘video for good’.

‘Lover’ has received various reviews, though some critics praised the album saying it is light and fun and almost everyone can find a song they enjoy, others suggested that it's a bit long and ‘a mixed bag’.

The 29-year-old singer took to her official social media handle and shared some of the reviews on her Instagram. She also included the reviews of Sheffield from Rolling Stone calling it a "career-topping masterpiece" and Quinn Moreland at Pitchfork saying it was "a return to vulnerability and romance."

However, Alexandra Pollard revealed on Twitter that her review was incomplete in the above photos. Sharing a screenshot of the post, the journalist wrote, “"There is a brilliant album among the 18 songs, if only it had been pruned a little." But close enough!”

In the original review Alexandra had written, “There is a brilliant album among the 18 songs, if only it had been pruned a little. But Swift has never been one to hold back, and it's hard to resent her for it.”

Well, the review was certainly not an insult, but modifying the review as per our convenience, makes it sound like she praised the album.

Stay tuned for more updates!
