Taunting Vikkas on not becoming a father has been my biggest regret: Archana Gautam of Bigg Boss 16

One of the most successful seasons of Colors’ show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ came to an end. After five long months, the day has finally come. The show had Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, MC Stan, Archana Gautam and Shalin Bhanot as the Top 5 contestants. The grand finale episode was nothing less than a fun ride. MC Stan won the trophy of the show.

Shalin Bhanot who had a remarkable journey finished the competition at fifth spot. Archana Gautam was a dark horse of the show and quite an unexpected contestant to reach until the finale. She finished her journey at fourth spot. 

India Forums got in touch with Archana post her evictions and asked her briefly about her journey. She said, “When I re-entered the show, I had a lot of responsibilities on my shoulder as the makers as well the host of the show Salman Khan showed faith in me and brought me back on the show. It was a difficult journey for me but I believe I played well. I feel, I should’ve reached until the Top 3, however, I’m happy with whatever I got from the show. I’ve received immense love from the audience and recognition and I’m forever grateful for that. When I entered the show, not many people knew me and now a lot of them do and that’s my victory”.

When asked about MC Stan winning the show, Archana said, “Well, initially, I felt that the show is about showing involvement in different topics, being passionate about winning and voicing opinions on the house matters. However, now, I feel the show is also to do a lot about a person’s personality. While people loved me for my entertainment quotient, people loved Stan for his unique personality and thus I feel, he deserved to win”.

We asked Archana if she regrets anything from her entire Bigg Boss 16 journey, she quipped, “In a recent torture task, I wasted food by putting frozen fish on Stan and Nimrit. I believe, I shouldn’t have done that”.

She added, “Another thing that I deeply regret is question Vikkas Manaktala about fatherhood. I angrily taunted him for not becoming a parent. I feel a lot of remorse for that statement and with folded hands, I want to apologize for the same. I really wish and pray that this year Vikkas welcomes a baby and I’d love to visit his house with a gift for his baby”.
