Tanushree Dutta Reacts to Nana Patekar getting a clean chit from police; calls it Fake!

The year 2018 will always be highlighted for the MeToo movement as many renowned Bollywood celebrities were accused of sexual assault. And the pioneer of this movement was Tanushree Dutta who accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment and this controversy made headlines for a long time.

And recently there were reports stating that Nana Patekar got a clean chit from the Police as no victims agreed to Tanushree Dutta's statements. But now Tanushree has reacted to these reports and called it a false rumour.

She said, "There is a false rumour floating in the Media that Nana Patekar has been given clean chit by Police in a harassment case. I wish to clarify that the Mumbai police have given no such statement and that the investigation on the matter is still ongoing as confirmed by my advocate Nitin Satpute and the Mumbai Police.

She further stated, "We have come to know that Nana Patekar's public relations team is responsible for spreading this false rumour because the accused in harassment cases are not getting any work in the industry and this is their attempt at damage control and fixing the public image."
