Sab TV’s most popular and longest-running comedy family drama, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is best known for the quirky and funny characters of the show residing in Gokuldham Society. The shows revolve around the residents of the society and how they put themselves in weird situations.

One such character is Popatlal. He is one of the most loved characters in the show but according to a leading portal Shyam Pathak aka Popatlal was allegedly asked to leave the show. Yes, you read that right!

It happened that Shyam got into a heated argument with the producer due to which he was asked to leave the show. After four days with no work, Shyam understood his mistake and apologized to everyone. He asked for forgiveness and eventually, the makers forgave him.  And he was retained back in the show.

Shyam without informing the production house went to London with Dilip Joshi aka Jehtala for an event.  Eventually, it disturbed the shoot. His absence and unprofessional behavior got the makers extremely angry.

But all is well that ends well

And still, people love watching Popatlal on-screen.
