Swati Rajput to play the lead role in Katha Kottage Production’s next for Star Plus?

Well, the buzz is that Katha Kottage Production house helmed by Rajitha Sharma is working religiously on their upcoming project. According to our highly placed sources, the show will apparently be telecast on Star Plus. The story of the project will revolve around a dusky woman breaking stereotypes.

A little birdie has informed us that actress Swati Rajput stands a brighter chance of getting finalized to play the lead role in the show. Swati has been a part of shows like ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir’, Tum Dena Saath Mera among others.

Swati has worked with Katha Kottage Production in their last show ‘Patiala Babes’ as well. We couldn’t connect with Swati for a comment. We tried to reach out to Rajitha Sharma but couldn't get her confirmation on the same.

Star Plus has a great line-up of their upcoming shows. The promo of its new show ‘Vidrohi’ is already out and is getting the love from the viewers. The show stars actors like Sharad Malhotra, Sulagna Panigrahi, Anang Desai among others.
