Against several odds, the mythological drama show, 'Suryaputra Karn' has been wowing the audiences for over a year now. The show was intended to be a finite series, but considering the popularity of the show, it got an extension earlier this year.

Be it Gautam Rode's exceptional performance as Karn or the accuracy of the historical facts, the show has managed to keep the audience engaged throughout. And now, the show is all set to be entering the climax track which is promised to be humongous.

And this climax will be witnessing a new entry in the form of Lord Shyam, the lesser known son of Lord Krishna. An absolute antithesis to his father, Shyam would be an angry and independent man, who wouldn't believe in his father's ideologies and concepts; which will enable the father-son duo to be at loggerheads.

According to a leading news portal, that role would be played by actor, Shresth Kumar, best known for his performance in 'Kitani Mohabbat Hai', 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' and 'Mere Angne Mein' among others.

Here is the actor's look from the  show.

We wish the actor all the best for this new venture..!
