Surbhi Tiwari who is presently seen in Swastik Pictures' show on Zee TV, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo will play a prominent role in Zee's upcoming historical venture, 'Rani Lakshmi Bai', produced by Contiloe Productions.
We talked to Surbhi Tiwari who confirmed the news and said, "Yes, all I can say now is that I am playing the role of Maina Bai in the show. We shot at the Narmada river for six days, and we had great fun".
Talking about the belief that River Narmada has in history, the actress states, "The river is a Kanwari river. So there is a belief that if you wish for something, and take a dip in it, your wish will be granted. I nearly took 25 dips in the river; I prayed for the prosperity of all my family members, friends, for both of my shows, for global warming, for the nation to get adequate rainfall etc (smiles)".
Surbhi who has bought a new house recently also shopped to her heart's content at Indore. "I went there with just 4 kg of luggage, and got back with 37 kg (smiles)", she avers.
If sources are to be believed, Rani Lakshmi Bai is expected to launch in the month of August, though the channel is trying its level best to launch the show in July itself.
As reported earlier, Jaya Bhattacharya will be seen playing a prominent role in the show. Aroona Irani will play the role of Vahini Saiba.
