TV actress Surbhi Chandna, who will be seen playing Annika in Star Plus' latest offering Ishqbaaaz, is all set to play popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta's love interest in the show.
The show revolves around the lives of three Oberoi brothers - Shivaay, Omkara, and Rudra. Shivaay, played by Nakuul is someone who is shrewd, arrogant and fully loaded with attitude. Annika's character on the other hand is chirpy, full-of-life, and an extremely happy-go-lucky kind.
Recently, when Surbhi and Nakuul had to shoot for a scene full of conflict, the actress had to get her hands full of cow-dung. During the shoot, the scene was required to be shot from various angles which meant Surbhi had to constantly redo the process of taking the cow-dung in her hand and throwing it off. By the end of the day, once the shoot was over, Surbhi was apparently smelling of cow dung which made the cast run away from her. Surbhi, in return eventually got so used to the smell, that she threatened to throw the cow-dung on the cast and crew around her.
Talking about the same, the actress said, "If my role demands me to do something, I do give my 100 percent to it. When the makers told me I had to throw 'gobbar'. The sequence was narrated to me really well and if it required me to dump my hands in cow dung repeatedly so that viewers understand the sparks between Shivaay and Annika, so be it."
"It was the cow dung that formed a major part of the scene. It was really an unusual experience, it was fun throwing the cow dung at people around me. Everybody was shocked at first, then they all started running away from me," she added.
