Super Six gear up for New Challengers on K For Kishore
K For Kishore introduces the New Challengers as they prepare to take on the Super Six.

K for Kishore, a show on Sony Entertainment Television that recreated the magic of one of the greatest singing legends, Kishore Kumar,
continues its journey with his music lovers. Over the last six weeks,
extremely talented and avid fans of Kishoreda’s voice have tried to
attune themselves to crooning glory. Finally six remain to compete for
the ultimate honour, to be crowned Kishore Kumar’s Heir Apparent, the singer with a voice closest to the legend.
But after six weeks of great singing and memorable moments, the six remaining contestants have to face six new challengers who made their entry into the show through the Tata Indicom, Radio Mirchi, and IBN7 contests. These six new singers now pose a challenge to the existing Super Six making the competition tougher but giving the viewers an opportunity to hear some of the melodious songs of Kishoreda.
The New Challengers include Amit Paul, runner- up of Indian Idol, Rex D’souza, runner up of Fame Gurukul, Sikander Ali, contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Ammanat Ali, nephew of maestro Ghulam Ali,Anil Srivastava and K Shailendra, a playback singer.
To introduce these challengers, Sony Entertainment had a press conference on the 21st of February wherein the challengers and the contestants crooned to glory in their melodious voices for the media present. The host of the event was the ever smiling and die-hard Kishore Kumar fan, Babul Supriyo.
K for Kishore has gained immense popularity in a short span of time since its launch. So much so that it has even brought in Percept Picture Company and Nagesh Kukunoor to look for a new playback singer among the contestants and challengers for their new film on Kishore Kumar.
