Chennai Swaggers' Kunal Pant reveals all about BCL.

Sunny Leone's BCL team Chennai Swaggers has been impressing one and all with their performances. We spoke to the actor and team member Kunal Pant who hopes his team lifts the cup this time.

How will you define the performance of your team so far in BCL?

It's a sports event, where you are bound to face successes and failures in your series of innings. I remain confident in every situation and enjoy my game; I ensure to instil a similar confidence in my fellow team mates. And that's my biggest success point that as a team we perform well and win.

What are the injuries you have witnessed so far?

My back and right shoulder are sore. A proper warm-up is needed to face the ball.

Any memorable incident that you'd like to share.

Our memorable moment is yet to come and will surely come soon, when we lift the cup. Till now we had easy matches and are winning them comfortably.

Have you felt any changes after you started playing for BCL?

I have lost 5 kgs - all muscles are gone. I have to hit the gym ASAP as there is too much of cardio during practice sessions.

What feedback have you been getting for BCL season two?

The time slot is 4:30 pm on weekends usually, but people are out during that time. But those who do watch it at that time or see the repeat telecast, are thrilled with the game.

Do you think cricket as a game, still has a hold over Indians?

Yes, cricket is the most-loved sport as that's the only form we have developed as a nation. It's sad that other sports need so much attention. We neglect those sports and the sportsmen who play that sport. The saying, 'jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai' unfortunately holds true.

Who is your favourite cricketer?

MS Dhoni. He is calm and composed and an achiever and keeps improvising his game every time. Besides, his roots also belong to the same place where I come from i.e. Uttarakhand.

How's Sunny Leone as the owner of the team?

Sunny Leone is cool, happy and chirpy. She is always present at the team's matches and cheers for us. And she brings in the additional oomph to our team.

Looks like Sunny's team is actually having a field day in this season of Box Cricket League.
