Sunayana Fozdar shows gratitude to her fans; celebrates 15 years of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Sunayana Fozdar a.k.a Anjali Mehta from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah shared a post on her social media as the show marked completion of fifteen years. It is known to be the longest-running Indian daily sitcom and it has been an all-time favorite of viewers. 

Sunayana has been in the industry for over a decade and has played several iconic roles, out of which Anjali Bhabhi has been very special to her. When Sunayana joined the show, she had big shoes to fill. It wasn't the first time a new person was going to fill the place of another actor in the multi-starrer show but it was a huge responsibility because fans had to accept her as Anjali Bhabhi for her to fit in the show. Sunayana took over the fans like no one expected. She brought newness to the show with her experienced acting skills and fashion choices. 

Sunayana's character of Anjali Bhabhi is an educated woman who focuses on a healthy lifestyle and also forces her husband to follow a balanced diet. She is smart and the best advisor for the other ladies of the Gokuldham Society. When it comes to fashion choices, she prefers subtle options. Sunayana knew that a good fashion sense is a must for any character to be highlighted, and she focused on improving the fashion image of Anjali Bhabhi. She kept it subtle but introduced a variety of styles, color choices, and new hair and makeup options. It was altogether a fresh start for the character that was liked by the viewers. 

On the completion of fifteen years of the longest-running show, Sunayana shared her happiness with her fans on social media. She gave credit to her fans for always supporting her. She showed her excitement and wrote, "Being a part of this iconic moment feels surreal". She further continued to thank her fans and wrote, "A big thanks to the entire team and you guys (fans), without you all this wouldn't have been possible. Many more years to come. Keep showering your love and support. In the last she wrote, "Kyuki Aap Hai Toh Hum Hai" (Because of you we exist).

Sunayana often comes live on her social media to interact with her fans as she doesn't get many chances to get close to them due to regular shoots.
