Sumeet Vyas Opens Up On Why They Named Their Son 'Ved'

Amidst the immensely troubling times there have been owing to coronavirus, we have all also been blessed with some good and heartening news especially if its about the arrival of a newborn, isn't it? That seems to be the perfect segway for us to talk about both these things - being blessed and a newborn.

It is about actors and couple, Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul we are talking about. The loving couple, as we know, was recently blessed with a baby boy about which Vyas himself posted on Instagram and informed everyone.

And while Vyas already revealed that they have named their son Ved, recently in an interview with ETimes, he opened up on why did he do that. Vyas said he had decided long back that fi they have a son, they will him Ved. In fact, he mentioned he plans on calling him Ved Vyas. Ring a bell? Yes. Vedvyasa was the famous author who is responsible for writing Mahabharata and everal other Vedas and Puranas.

Well. That indeed is amazing, isn't it? Apart from that, Vyas also mentioned how they took extra precuations dueing pregnancy and in fact, they even avoided a big hospital for the delivery. He said, “My aunt has a private maternity nursing home and we knew that she will take extra care. When not busy with surgeries, she even sent us home-cooked food.”

Well, we certainly hope this is only the beginning of blessed times.
