Sumbul Touqeer of Imlie: I feel I am growing as an actor daily

Sumbul Touqeer Khan, currently seen in Imlie, in the titular role, has sure come a long way since the show went on-air. The actress has won hearts, made a place in every household, and together, the team has made a permanent place in the top 5 on the TRP charts.

Sumbul, recently spoke to a leading portal about how far she has come, maturing as an actor, and some more. She told the poral how she has matured as an actress and is herself now. She recalled shooting a drunk scene at the beginning of the show and one recently, and she saw the difference between the two. She added how she felt she is growing as an actor daily.

She also spoke about how she gas gotten offers for a movie, the production house being the same as her film Article 15, however, she is playing a lead in a daily soap and hence, she does not get the time for other projects. She also mentioned how she wants to focus on one thing at a time. About aging on screen, she said how she wants to explore roles that her her age and not of a mother since she is 17 right now.

Lastly, about dealing with success and popularity, she mentioned how she does not go out so often and with the pandemic, she still does not know how popular she has become. However, she recalled an instance of going for a movie with her sister and despite her mask, someone identidied her and it was then that she realised she has gained slight popularity.
