Sumbul Touqeer ate raw green-chillies for a scene in ‘Imlie’

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The show has impressed the audiences and how. The show has been in the TOP 3 most viewed shows of Television across the channel since a long time now. The current track of the show revolves around Aditya getting married to Malini while Imlie couldn’t stop the same.

Time and again, daily soap actors prove their passion and hard work by walking the extra mile to entertain the viewers. Many actors give priority to their work and believe that work is worship and hence, at times, they shoot for their shows despite being unwell. In the quench to get that one perfect shot, the actors often push the envelope and get deep into the skin of the character.

One such incident happened with actress Sumbul Touqeer. The actress plays the titular role in Star Plus show ‘Imlie’. For a scene, Imlie was supposed to eat raw green-chilies out of frustration and emotions being bottled up. The actress ate the green-chillies for real to get the perfect expression and emotion.

Sumbul shared BTS video of the scene on social media wherein she is seen chewing the green-chilies. Post the shot, she was seen being affected with the spice while the production crew brought her a glass of milk.
