Sumbul Touqeer & Gashmeer Mahajani aka Imlie-Aditya recreate the popular DDLJ pose; Gashmeer opens up on same

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Imlie and Aditya’s separation. Imlie is trying to become an independent journalist while Aryan doesn’t leave any chance to humiliate Aditya and Imlie.

Gashmeer Mahajani who plays the character of Aditya in the show shared a few pictures from the set wherein Aditya and Imlie are seen dressed in the attires of popular Bollywood characters.

We contacted Gashmeer to know more about the sequence, she said, “Well, I can’t really reveal the sequence and the reason why we’re dressed like that. Sumbul recreated the Simran look from DDLJ and I’m dressed as a popular Shahrukh Khan character. We were goofing around the sets and planned to click a few pictures in the costumes. I came up with an interesting caption which read ‘I’m in love with a FAIRYTALE #imlie’ which fits apt with Aditya and Imlie’s situation right now in the show. They’ve tried their best to save their relationship but failing because of the circumstances. There love story is so delightful and beautiful but still they can’t stay together. The pictures and the caption went well along and thus I posted the same”.

Talking about his thoughts on popular movie ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayege’, Gashmeer added, “DDLJ is undoubtedly the epitome of romance. It somewhere down the line, made the romance as a genre in the movies more popular”.

We’re sure audience will be excited to know the sequence for which Aditya-Imlie have donned the look of popular Bollywood characters.
