Sulagna Panigrahi back to acting..

Sulagna Panigrahi, who got popular as Dhara in Sony’s Amber Dhara is chilling out these days. After her show went off air, the cute actress went on a break, and now wants to return to acting. But this time she is trying her hand at Bollywood.

“I am bound with Swastik Pictures under a contract, so I cannot do any other shows. But we are allowed to do films and ads, so I plan to try my luck with films for now,” says Sulagna.

She has just returned from Delhi. “I was on a break and it’s definitely been long since I have acted in anything, so I decided to come back and try out for something new. I have been giving auditions and hope that something works out soon”, states the cute actress.

Sulagna does not want to take up saas-bahu sagas on TV. “I keep getting offers for such shows but I don’t want to do it. I’m looking out for something young and may do a show with Swastik Production house only,” she quips.

Her contract with the production house ends in August, 2009. “I thank the production for making me secure. I don’t need to worry for my finances,” she laughs.

When asked about her dream role she states, “It would be that of Anandi from Balika Vadhu. It’s a fantastic show and my dream role too,” she concludes.

Let’s wait and watch where this ‘Dhara’ leads to!!
