Sudhanshu Pandey: I have done enough work that insecurity doesn’t figure in my scheme of things
Sudhanshu Pandey reveals that his character of Vanraj is the hero of Anupamaa and that he is not going anywhere.

Anupamaa has been one of the most talked about shows both in numbers and even otherwise. Time and again, there have been reports about Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj quitting the show - first when Apurva Agnihotri made an entry in the show, and now, as Gaurav Khanna is a part of it.
Talking about the same, Sudhanshu mentioned how there is no question of him quitting Anupamaa and that he had gone for a holiday with his family after a year and a half to Dubai. After that, he went to Ganaganagr in Rajasthan to shoot for an OTT project. He said that him missing from the show and then taking a vacation and then shooting another project, which he had to, people presumed that he had quit. However, he said how his character Vanraj Shah was the hero of the show and will remain the hero.
In addition, there are also reports about ego clashes and Sudhanshu not being happy with the character development. He addressed those too, while talking to TOI and said, “Firstly, people need to understand, that you can’t keep running the show with just one storyline. Earlier too, Apurva Agnihotri was roped in the show for some time. It is a daily soap which, if it needs to run for years, can’t be showing the same faces on a daily basis. As far as having insecurity is concerned, I have been in the industry for long enough and have done enough work that insecurity kind of emotion doesn’t figure in my scheme of things at all! Not many know that Rajan (Shahi), who is an old friend of mine, came to me with the show even before he had finalized it with the channel. He even went to an extent that only if I said yes, will he make the show. So all this means a lot.''
Well, fans of the actor can heave a sigh of relief as he is not going anywhere.

Hero?? Did i got the definition of hero wrong.. Oh, I thought casting of Anupama should have been most crucial..I stand corrected now, please tell me why isn't the show called Vanraj? Have I been watching a different show so far.. ooops.

May be he is hero in show but NOT in Anupama's life. Anupama's life hero will always be ANUJ.

okayyyyyy.....well that is awkward. he is the antagonist...the lead, ill give him that...but hero? as far as im concerned there was no hero on the show until september 2nd, 2021.
