Basic pieces of clothing are the life lines one can't imagine getting ready without. They are more like the foundation of a great wardrobe. However, to make a statement, amping them up is as basic as the Basic's are. And, here we have Malaika Arora and Yami Gautam slaying their basic style game...

In Santacruz Mumbai, Malaika boards a flight wearing a basic white tee by Balmain and dark denims. She jazzes up her look with a Givenchy tote, cool sunnies and Bvlgari Serpenti watch. 

While yesterday, somewhere in Andheri, Yami donned a basic heather grey tee, black denims and strappy sandals, elevated with a Burberry bag and statement wayfarers.
