Bollywood's leggy beauty Deepika Padukone and our very own Telly world's gorgeous Erica Fernandes are both sought after actresses.

Although they are not look-alikes, one cannot deny that they share a distinct resemblance. Be it their tall frame, svelte figure or toned legs. And of course, not to mention their captivating smile and marvelous manes that make them the beauty they are.

While these similarities are quite evident, we will discuss those two rare instances when, why and how we got confused between both the actresses!

Albeit Erica Fernandes aka Dr. Sonakshi Bose sports a short hairstyle at the moment in 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi', she had long luscious locks at one point initially. In one of the episodes, we saw Erica in an orange dress and for a second we felt that she bore a strong resemblance to Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone.

And why is that, you may think!

Because earlier we've seen Dippy in the same dress when she was on her promotional duties for her film 'Ram Leela'.

Although fashion face-offs between two actresses is a very common phenomenon in the glamour world, sometimes it can be done deliberately. And this certainly seems to be the case when our darling Erica did a film down South.

With a gajra decorated side plait, face finished with a bindi, and an orange and green outfit accessorized with jhumkas, Erica's look appeared same as Deepika's from 'Chennai Express'.
