Star wars items to go on sale in online auction!

A Luke Skywalker doll for $18,000, a Darth Vader helmet or a cuddly Yoda for $100. 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' fans will get a rare chance to get their hands on 'Star Wars' memorabilia!!.

The new Star Wars movie has broken all records for advance ticket sales.

More than 600 items will go on sale in an online auction organized by Sotheby's and eBay on December 11 , two weeks ahead of the Indian release of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens',  releasing on 25th December, the seventh movie in the world's biggest film franchise.

All of the items in the auction come from the private collection of Japanese designer and creative entrepreneur Nigo, who started collecting toys and figures decades ago at just six years old.

A Luke Skywalker doll, which would have been sold in 1978 as a children's toy, goes on sale at the auction with an estimated value of $12,000 to $18,000.

There are few, if any, movies in history that can claim to have an iconic status similar to that of Star Wars. With the movie - Star Wars: The Force Awakens all set to hit cinemas this Christmas on 25th December 2015 in India, and with one month to go, the excitement has reached fever pitch!!
