Star Plus' upcoming show, 'Durga' confirms its ENSEMBLE cast..

The list of upcoming shows for Star Plus doesn't seem to be ending, in fact, it seems to be increasing with every passing day. Before we talk about an upcoming show, here is the list of shows set to go on-air soon.

From Drashti Dhami-Arjun Bijlani starrer, 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' to Sanaya Irani starrer, 'Meenu Mausi' and Shakti Anand starrer, 'The King's Daughters' and the singing reality show, 'Dil Hai Hindustani'.

Adding to this list is another social drama titled 'Durga'. The show is based on the journey of a little girl who is pressurized by her family to do well in the academics and obtain fame. However, he inclination towards sports, specifically athletics, is what would make her an anomaly. And during this process, when she would face a lot of difficulties, she would bump into a coach who would help her gain confidence and momentum to achieve success.

The titular role of Durga will be played by child actor Ananya Agarwal while actors Rajesh Shringarpure, Vicky Ahuja and Rakhu Vijan have also been finalized for important roles.

And the latest to join this list is the veteran actress, Amardeep Jha. Playing the head of the family, Amardeep's character will be the grandmother of the protagonist, who will be a disciplinarian and will have high expectations from Durga.
