Star Plus has indeed been famous for pulling shows off-air rather suddenly in the recent times. And, looks like this time around, the news about not one but 5 of Star Plus shows going off-air has been an equally sudden one.

While Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara is all set to go off-air tonight itself, there are 4 other shows, including the likes of Ishqbaaaz, Naamkarann, Meri Durga and Ikyawann which will soon follow the suit.

Ishqbaaaz has been in the news for this reason for quite some time now, and though the show is immensely loved by the viewers, the TRPs of the show haven't really been on a high.

The other shows on the list have a similar story to tell, however, the most surprising of all is that of Ikyawann as it has only been 2 months since the show went on-air.

According to the reports in media, these shows will not see the light of the day post June 2018, and will gradually go off-air in order to make for the channel's strategy.

Also, the channel has 4 new shows in the making, The King's Daughter being one of them.
