Star Plus’ Sanjivani 2 to go on-air From August!

Star Plus is currently working on the reboot of Sanjivani, a popular medical drama that aired on the same channel in 2002. Starring Namit Khanna, Surbhi Chandna, Sayantani Ghosh, Rohit Roy, Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli, the show has been making it to the headlines from quite a long now. On the Doctors’ Day, the makers introduced the first look of the leads and since then fans are going gaga to watch the first glimpse of the show. 

Now, from media reports, we have learnt that the show will air on Star Plus from the 12th of August.

Sanjivani that aired in 2002, marked the introduction of medical dramas on television and the popularity of the show introduced its second season titled, Dill Mill Gayye which was yet again a super hit. The reboot has retained Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli from the previous show and will have a similar storyline. Sanjivani is thus a story of doctors, their ambitions and about the interpersonal relationship with each other. 

We had exclusively reported that popular actor Shantanu Maheshwari will be seen in the premiere episode of the show. It will be his cameo but his character will have an importance in the story development.
